Algocode is a dynamic platform that mirrors the functionality of LeetCode, enabling users to practice DSA and coding contest challenges. Users can submit code to predefined problems, which is then securely executed in Docker containers. The system checks the code against various test cases and provides real-time feedback with results such as WA (Wrong Answer), AC (Accepted), TLE (Time Limit Exceeded), and more. Algocode's microservices architecture includes an Auth Service, a Code Manager Service, and an RCE Engine for C++ judging, ensuring a robust and scalable solution.
ProStream is a low-latency live streaming platform inspired by Twitch, designed to provide a seamless streaming experience. Leading a team of four, I developed ProStream to include real-time chat, streamer/viewer dashboards, analytics, secure authentication, and payment systems. Deployed on AWS infrastructure with load balancing and EC2 servers, ProStream prioritizes security, monetization, and scalability, delivering a comprehensive streaming solution.
CuteTube is a high-performance video-on-demand platform similar to YouTube. I built the backend using Django, experimenting with both monolithic and microservices architectures over multiple versions to improve performance. The project features a video processing pipeline with Celery for handling tasks asynchronously, FFmpeg for video transcoding, and AWS S3 for storing video segments. I also implemented Adaptive Bitrate Streaming to ensure smooth playback regardless of network conditions, added DRM with Microsoft's PlayReady for content protection, and used Docker to containerize the entire solution for easy deployment.
